Hi Mariah! Thanks so much for your review and we're so sorry for any confusion around the container properties. We're glad to help out here! The 14 oz volume to overflow typically refers to how much water, by volume in milliliters or fluid ounces, a container will hold. The wax weight fill will be an estimated fill weight by mass in ounces or grams. The fill level will vary depending on a maker's preferred fill level and the density of the wax being used. We hope this is helpful, but if we can further assist, don't hesitate to get in touch via email at support@candlescience.com.
